33 years in power

Yesterday, Alberto João Jardim commemorated his 33rd anniversary as President of the Government of the Autonomous Region of Madeira. Jardim has been successively elected with blatant violations of election laws. During his tenure, Jardim has rarely set foot in Parliament, arguing that he answers directly to the people.
